Frank J. Kurtik presentation of Hidden Pittsburgh History in the Stained Glass Windows of Heinz Memorial Chapel
Please join us on Monday, September 8 at 6:30 pm at Bentleyville Public Library for a fascinating special presentation by Frank Kurtik, historian and former docent at Heinz Chapel in Pittsburgh. Frank will discuss some of the local historical events depicted in the windows of that landmark building on the University of Pittsburgh's Oakland campus. Frank has worked in Hillman Library as Pitt's first photo archivist, organizing the Pittsburgh City Photographer Collection. After nearly a decade at Pitt, he worked on the personal staff of the late Sen. John Heinz and for the Heinz Family Foundation.
